Champagne watermelon
While we were in Melbourne we had the most delicious watermelon at a family barbecue, the like of which I hadn’t seen before. It was citrussy, with more flavour than a standard red watermelon. Un/fortunately there were very few seeds although I tried to hang on to some. When I got home I did a quick internet search and found a company in the UK who would send them to me in France. (Thank heavens we are still in the EU for five more minutes)
So when I arrived home a day or two ago, there they were. It’s too early to sow them but I’m really looking forward to seeing how they do here in France. Unfortunately, as they are F1 hybrids, I won’t be able to save their seeds. Never mind, I bought two packets, so I have 100 seeds. That should be enough for a while.
Thank you Moles Seeds.
