Brighten up those salads

Now that the clocks have sprung forward I’m looking forward to sitting outside enjoying summer salads. I love using edible flowers to brighten up summer dishes and here are a few of my favourites. From left to right we have chrysanthemum, phlox paniculata, rose, mallow, borage, lavender, begonia, violet, nasturtium, day lily, dahlia & marigold. I also love abutilon which grows really well here and the red and yellow variety is especially sweet.
